You may be eligible for WINZ Home Help
WINZ provides Home Help to eligible families following a multiple birth. This support can help with everyday household tasks during a particularly demanding season.
Home Help may include things like:
Laundry
Vacuuming and general household cleaning
Dishes and kitchen tidy-ups
Childcare
Meal preparation
Other practical household tasks that help keep your home running
The aim isn't to have someone take over your home. It's to give you back some time, energy and breathing room.
How does it work?

You may be able to get WINZ assisted Home Help for multiple births or adoption of 2 or more surviving babies born from a single pregnancy.
You’re eligible only if you have another child who is under the age of 5 years old.
Assistance is not available if the twins are born first and then the further child.
Clients who have given birth or adopted triplets, quads, and quins do not have to have another child in their care to qualify for Home Help.

240 hours of funded home help for twins (with an older sibling under five years old)
1,560 hours of funded home help for triplets or higher order multiples (eligible regardless of whether they have an older sibling)
Home help hours are funded at a maximum rate of $27.23 per hour ($25.21 + 8% holiday pay)
Must be used within 12 months for twins or within 24 months for triplets and higher order multiples

Once Home Help has been approved, you can arrange your support directly with Hands That Hold.
